US September WASDE Report Indicates Changes in Crop End Stocks

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its September World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, revealing updated figures for key crop end stocks. The report indicates that corn end stocks are projected at 1.567 billion bushels, surpassing estimates of 1.522 billion bushels but down from the previous figure of 1.653 billion bushels.

For soybeans, the end stocks are estimated at 310 million bushels, slightly above the forecast of 299 million bushels but lower than the previous estimate of 320 million bushels. The total wheat end stocks remain stable at 717 million bushels, closely aligning with the estimate of 718 million bushels and unchanged from the prior report.

Additionally, the report shows cotton end stocks at 3.60 million bales, which is below the estimated 3.79 million bales and significantly lower than the previous figure of 4.00 million bales. These adjustments reflect ongoing trends in agricultural production and market conditions.
