Colgate-Palmolive has announced that Jennifer M. Daniels, the company's long-serving Chief Legal Officer, will retire in 2026. Betsy Fishbone, currently the Executive Vice President, is set to take over the role of Chief Legal Officer and Secretary starting June 1, 2026. During the transition, Daniels will serve as Vice Chair to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
In a related development, Colgate-Palmolive and its subsidiary Tom's of Maine have reached a settlement of $2.90 million concerning a class action lawsuit focused on the marketing practices of their toothpaste products. This settlement underscores the company's ongoing efforts to address legal risks associated with its marketing strategies.
