AT&T Agrees to New FirstNet Terms After Talks With Commerce Secretary
AT&T Chief Executive John Stankey agreed last week to new terms for the FirstNet program after discussions with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, people familiar with the matter said.
FirstNet is the public safety wireless network used by emergency responders across the United States. The agreement marks a new step in the program’s ongoing terms between AT&T and the federal government.
