Pump.Fun (PUMP) Token Plummets 12% as iOS App Gets Pulled From App Stores
Key Highlights
- PUMP plunged 12.5% over 24 hours, settling at $0.004002 with a $1.659B market capitalization
- Technical breakdown confirmed as price exits ascending channel pattern, RSI signals weakening momentum at 40.60
- Liquidation events totaled $5.42M across 24 hours, predominantly affecting long positions
- Platform introduces 20 novel trading pairs linked to equities and commodities on Solana blockchain
- iOS application pulled from U.S. and Indian App Stores in temporary measure
The PUMP token from Pump.fun experienced a sharp 12.5% decline over the past day, reaching a price point of $0.004002. Throughout this period, the asset fluctuated within a range of $0.003977 to $0.004821. The token’s market capitalization currently registers at $1.659B.

Established in 2024 on the Solana blockchain, the platform serves as a launchpad for creating and exchanging meme-based digital assets. Since its inception, it has evolved into a prominent token deployment ecosystem within the cryptocurrency space, currently holding the #52 position by market capitalization.
Daily trading activity reached $389.33M during the latest 24-hour period. Binance dominated exchange metrics with $414.68M in transactions, trailed by OKX recording $225.64M and Hyperliquid registering $210.97M.
According to CoinGlass liquidation metrics, $5.42M was eliminated from the market within a day. Long positions bore the brunt with $4.20M in losses, while short positions absorbed $1.22M. The majority of long position liquidations materialized during a 12-hour span, accumulating to $3.89M.
Technical Pattern Collapse
Examining the 4-hour PUMP/USDT technical chart reveals that price action had maintained an upward trajectory within an ascending channel formation spanning more than a week. This technical structure has now failed, with PUMP breaching below the channel boundaries and gravitating toward underlying support territory.
The Relative Strength Index has retreated to 40.60, positioned beneath its moving average of 52.80. This indicator reading validates that bullish momentum from the preceding uptrend has dissipated.
A cryptocurrency market analyst shared a bearish assessment on X, observing that the bullish trendline which had underpinned PUMP for approximately two months has been violated. The analyst emphasized the critical support zone as the decisive level, cautioning that a verified breakdown could trigger a substantially steeper correction.
Should buying pressure emerge at present levels, PUMP might rebound toward $0.004638. Successfully surpassing that threshold would establish a trajectory to $0.004944, with $0.005231 representing the next resistance if bullish momentum persists.
Alternatively, if support crumbles, $0.003902 represents the immediate downside target. Further deterioration could test $0.003612 and $0.003357 sequentially.
Platform Expansion and Application Delisting
Pump.fun unveiled 20 additional trading pairs during the current week, enabling participants to deploy tokens pegged to tokenized equities, precious metals, and leading cryptocurrencies. Fifty percent of generated revenue from these trading pairs will be allocated toward $PUMP token buyback and burn mechanisms.
The Pump.fun mobile application has been withdrawn from iOS App Stores in both the United States and India. The development team characterizes this removal as a temporary situation and anticipates reinstatement in the near future. No official explanation has been provided regarding the delisting rationale.
The token’s fully diluted valuation is calculated at $3.341B, accompanied by a total value locked metric of $326.497M and a maximum token supply ceiling of 1 trillion units.
