Iran Signals Potential Shift in Nuclear Policy

Mohammadreza Mohseni-Sani, a member of Iran's parliament and part of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, announced that the country no longer considers itself bound by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). He stated that Iran might reassess its uranium enrichment strategy in light of recent pressures.

In an interview with Didban Iran, Mohseni-Sani emphasized that Iran's commitment to the NPT is no longer valid, indicating that the nation could choose to enrich uranium to any level it deems necessary. This statement marks a significant shift in Iran's nuclear policy, raising concerns about the potential implications for regional and global security.
