Adobe Launches AI Agents to Automate Marketing Workflows

Adobe is enhancing its range of marketing solutions with an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) system, an AI-powered coworker and expanded collaborations with AI platforms.

The company announced these new offerings Monday (April 20), on the first day of its Adobe Summit.

The new agentic AI system, Adobe CX Enterprise, brings together AI agents, agent skills and Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoints to help businesses manage their customer lifecycle, including acquisition, engagement, conversion and loyalty, according to a Monday press release.

“Adobe CX Enterprise enables businesses to scale agentic AI with a fully customizable solution that is tailored to the needs of their organization, moving teams beyond AI experiments to tangible business outcomes,” Anil Chakravarthy, president, customer experience orchestration business at Adobe, said in the release.

The new CX Enterprise Coworker, introduced in another Monday press release, activates insights across Adobe enterprise applications, embeds agentic AI into the engagement lifecycle and provides marketing teams with the power of agentic AI.

“Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker will be the next step for businesses that are retooling marketing workflows to help teams take advantage of agentic AI technology,” Anjul Bhambhri, senior vice president of engineering, customer experience orchestration at Adobe, said in the release.

In a third move announced Monday, Adobe expanded its collaborations with AI platforms to enable businesses to scale agent-powered workflows across any surface, according to another press release. With these collaborations, Adobe’s AI agents, skills and developer tools will be available within offerings from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Anthropic, Google Cloud, Microsoft and OpenAI.

“Marketers should have to choose between their organization’s AI tools and the marketing capabilities required to drive impactful outcomes, a gap we are bridging by expanding our partner ecosystem and creating highly customized integrations for Adobe CX Experience,” Amit Ahuja, senior vice president of product, customer experience orchestration at Adobe, said in the release.

Adobe said in December 2025 that it expects the rapid adoption of its AI-powered tools to help drive its revenue from $25.9 billion to $26.1 billion in fiscal year 2026.

“By advancing our innovative generative and agentic platforms and expanding our customer base, we are excited to target double-digit ARR [annual recurring revenue] growth in FY 2026,” Adobe Chair and CEO Shantanu Narayen said in a Dec. 10 press release.
